Terms of Service.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Numbrella mobile application and related services ("App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. ELIGIBILITY
To use the App, you must:
Use the App only in jurisdictions where doing so is lawful
Be old enough to consent to these Terms in your jurisdiction, or have permission from a parent or guardian
Numbrella is rated 4+ and does not require an account. We reserve the right to refuse or revoke access for violations of these Terms.
2. NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED
Numbrella does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide personal information to play. All puzzle gameplay is available immediately.
The only optional information you may provide is a display name, used solely to submit your results to the online leaderboard (see Section 3). You are responsible for any activity associated with a display name you use.
3. LEADERBOARD & DISPLAY NAMES
Numbrella includes an optional online leaderboard. If you choose to submit a score, you may enter a display name that will be visible to other players along with your game results (such as difficulty level, completion time, and mistakes).
You agree that:
You will choose an appropriate display name
You will not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
You will not enter personal information (such as your real full name, email, or phone number) as a display name
You will not use offensive, hateful, harassing, or infringing display names
Submitting to the leaderboard is entirely optional — you can play the full game without it. We may remove any leaderboard entry or display name that violates these Terms, and we may require you to choose a different name.
4. COMMUNITY RULES
You agree not to:
Cheat, manipulate, or exploit gameplay or the leaderboard
Submit falsified scores or use tools to alter results
Use offensive, hateful, or inappropriate display names
Harass, threaten, or abuse other players
Attempt to access the App's backend, database, or systems
Interfere with the App's functionality or servers
Violation may result in removal of leaderboard entries or loss of access to the App.
5. GAMEPLAY
The App provides a number-logic puzzle in which every cell equals the sum of the two cells directly below it. Numbrella includes multiple difficulty levels — Easy, Medium, Hard, Master, and Grandmaster — each with more rows and fewer clues than the last.
Game results, answer timing, correctness, and other metrics may be recorded to operate the leaderboard and to ensure fairness and prevent cheating.
6. ADVERTISING
Numbrella is free to play and supported by advertising. The App displays occasional interstitial ads between games using Google AdMob. Ads never appear during a puzzle.
Ads are served by third parties, and your interaction with ads and the data used to serve them are subject to those third parties' policies. See our Privacy Policy for details on advertising data and your choices.
7. PURCHASES & VIRTUAL ITEMS
Numbrella is currently free and contains no in-app purchases. If in-app purchases, tips, or virtual items are introduced in the future:
Any virtual items will have no cash value and will not be redeemable for money or goods
Purchases will be processed by Apple; Uber Dad Jokes LLC will not receive your card details
Purchases will be non-refundable except as required by Apple's in-app purchase refund policies
We may modify or discontinue any such items at any time.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All rights in:
The App
Logos, graphics, and branding
Game mechanics and design
Original puzzle content
Custom artwork
Are owned by Uber Dad Jokes LLC or its licensors.
You may not:
Copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or reuse the App
Extract puzzle data or content for commercial use
Claim ownership of App content
9. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
You may not:
Attempt to hack, manipulate, or disrupt servers
Circumvent timers or gameplay mechanics
Use scripts, bots, or automation
Submit falsified or automated leaderboard entries
Impersonate staff or other players
We reserve the right to restrict access for security, fairness, or legal reasons.
10. ACCESS & TERMINATION
Because Numbrella does not use accounts, we may restrict access, block a device, or remove leaderboard entries if you violate these Terms, harm the community, engage in cheating or fraud, or submit illegal content.
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. You may request removal of a leaderboard entry by contacting us at the email below.
11. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE."
We do not guarantee that:
Puzzles or content are error-free
The App will always function without interruption
Servers will be free of bugs or downtime
All content is accurate or up to date
You use the App at your own risk.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Uber Dad Jokes LLC is not liable for:
Data loss or loss of leaderboard standings
Network issues
Gameplay inaccuracies
Damages arising from misuse or user actions
Third-party service interruptions (e.g., Apple, Google, Supabase, network providers)
Total liability, if any, is limited to the amount you paid for the App (typically $0).
13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us for an attempt at informal resolution.
Disputes may be subject to:
Tennessee law (your LLC's home jurisdiction)
Small claims or arbitration depending on local requirements
You agree not to pursue class-action lawsuits against us.
14. CHANGES TO TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. When updated, the new date will appear at the top of this document. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
